Amicoat awarded funding from Research Council of Norway
The Research Council of Norway provides support for an Industrial PhD in Amicoat as it allocates 102 million NOK to fund 49 PhD projects in Norwegian businesses.
The project will study how to control and predict release of AMC-109 from biodegradable aliphatic polyesters for antimicrobial medical devices. This will strengthen Amicoat’s vision to combat infections that occur during medical treatment, known as healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
