AMC-109 State of the art Coupling to Surfaces


Problems caused by, or connected with, microbial colonization of materials necessitates innovative solutions that address direct modifications of the surfaces to create antimicrobial surfaces that avoid microbial settlement.

AMC-109 can be attached to a surface through a cycloaddition (“Click”) reaction, a technology that can be performed without harming the solid support or the peptide, and is thus capable of adding the peptide in a single step.

This technology can cover all shapes of the solid materials. It may be surfaces, fibers, tubes, beads or any other conceivable surface. Furthermore, it covers all solid supports, irrespective of materials.
